Poem

Today the 18th of November we wrote poems. We had to find a object in nature. I picked a smooth leaf. Then I wrote a poem, it was hard to make my poem rhyme but in the end it turned out pretty good.

Tuia 250 project

Recently we have looked on Tuia 250. We talked about what it is, if you didn't know Tuia 250 is when Captain James Cook concured New Zealand 250 years ago. First we were given cards of people and we were put in our groups. (Green cards and blue cards.) we had to find the stories that connected and we really struggled with that task. Then we were given new cards (Luckily I got the same one) to read and pull out the key parts of the story to make a timeline. Then yesterday and today we were give a random item (each card has there own item and once again I got lucky and got the item of my original card) we wrote a story about a day in the life of your item. Heres my story and timelime for my item:

Today we have learnt about making graphs. We collected data in a table together as a class and then we went back to induividuals to turn it into a graph. Heres mine:

On Sunday 15th of August 2019 I went to Tikipunga in Whangarei. The reason was because the Northland Cup was that day. The Northland Cup is a tournament where teams come and you play teams in your game. The three teams with the most points will go to the knockout stage. The two teams with the most points in knockout stage go to the final. Points system winning is 3 points, drawing is 1 points and losing is 0 points. My team was named City, we came second in the group stage with a total of 3 points and then was put into the finals against United. We were losing 2-0 until we scored a to make it 2-1, "We still have a chance" we said excitedly to each other. Just as a lady went to press the buzzer to end the game Harry scored a goal from just inside of the half way. It was powerful, high and dipped into the net in the last 10 seconds. The most intense part of the game, penalty shootout. Our first shot was a goal and then only when it was the last teams shot they scored, missing that shot would have made us win, but they scored to stay in the game. Right then all they needed was a goal to win, but we needed a goal and then for them to miss because we started. Then we scored we were so happy and all we needed we for the next penalty taker missed. As we were wishing the next penalty taker missed, we ran to our goalkeeper in celebration of victory. We headed back to the changing rooms and got out of our football kits. Then we headed through the aisle to the next room were prize giving was happening.
As United lined up they got there silver medal and they took some photos. Then City went up, we were so excited to get our gold medals. We all got our gold medals then we took some photos. That is the story of how we won the under 10s gold medal, two years in a row I have won the Northland Cup.

Cross Country/Fun Run

On Monday 26th August we did our Fun Run. Fun Run is alot like Cross Country but with fun activities in the way. We run in the ages we were at the start of the year. The orders were:

7 year old girls,
7 year old boys,
8 year old girls,
8 year old boys,
9 year old girls,

I was in the 9 boys race, came second and because of that am now going to interschool. I hope I can do the best I can and come first at interschool. Hopefully by the time interschool comes I will no longer be sick and ready to run again.

Weekly 3

Today we did Weekly 3. It is a maths slide wuth three different tasks. Prototec, Number of the day and Eako. I liked prototec, I went to the highest stage and got 38/40 or 95%. Numer of the day was also esay because I'm smart so I got that done in a flash. Something I found hard was Eako. I tried Exporing Ratios. It was tricky because I've never done Ratios before. Above this is my slide.

At WW3. Free writing

Day 1 WW3 started it was Tom, Hirris Sioneboy and I, we were all rushing Gallipoli. Sioneboy boy took the first shot, then we all fired. Sadly Hirris toe got hit but he carried on with the rest of us. While Hirri's, Sioneboy and I kept on shooting Tom sneakily got behind the enemies. Firing is AK47 he killed at least 7 people. All sight went on him, dogding bullets left and right. Tom has been in Matrix so his dodging skills were on point. While our foes were distracted by Tom, Hirris, Sioneboy and I took fire killing eveyone left. We all did a great job for day one, so we went to the back of the hill and walked our way to the top. As we went to celebrate we realised Tom was lying on the ground, he wasn't celebrating with us and he had a hole right through his shoulder. So we took him home preparing for day 2. DAY 2 Tom has recovered but I think he'll miss out today so it will probably just Sioneyboy, Hirris and I. As we sailed away we saw someone in the shadows of our boat. We jumped back from fright, but it was only Tom. We were all surprised to see that Tom was able and happy to battle with us in Gallipoli considiring he had a hole in his shoulder. This time we thought of a plan, grenade the whole place to clear any traps. Suprisingly enough, it worked! Then we set fire. I threw some spare grenades we had left over. It blew up so many foes, but another thing it blew was Sioneboy's cover. He snuck behing the enimies and hid behind a rock. He got very unlucky with the rock exploding, but very lucky not to get seen or fired at. Another day of celebration only to find someone was injured. Tom's shoulder was worse he said the battle was up to the three of us, and the explosion of the grenade I threw causing Sioneboy to get injured to, blowing off his arm. Our crew has been very lucky two days no deaths, sadly though three injuries. On our way home to our beloved country New Zealand, we wonder how us two Hirris and I could fight off all of our foes. The last sentence was "Sioneboy and Tom are injured, so now it's only Hirris and I. How will this go? That's for the future to decide. But for now lets get prepared!" Plan after plan after plan as day 3 slowly comes, but then then the perfect plan came to mind. Day 4, day 5, day 6, even day 7 making the ultimate weapon, a cloak machine. we cloaked us and our boat. Sioneboy and Tom stayed back as island supporters. We grenaded the place and trigered several traps Hirris snuck around and did so much damage and the gun had given his invisbility away and I threw so many grenades that it blew up most of the island killing everyone left! We uncloaked ourselves and our boat but realised our boat was no longer there. This is such a disaster and no doubt that reinforces were coming in any time now. We looked each other in the eye and said "Let's cloak up and get ready for battle number 2!" Day 8. Tom and Sioneboy saw that our boat was back at land and rushed in but we were not there. They rushed in to Gallipoli to see how thing were going. Miles and miles of just walking, we found the where the reinforcements were coming from. I had no idea where Hirris was so I waited for a signal of him. Gunshots in the air as he fires his Assault Rifle, then I came in. I did not bring a gun, just a knife and a whole lot of grenades, so I ran in. We killed hundres and thousands of foes but no matter how many times we killed there would always be one to back them up...                     ...Several months later...                     I sensed somebody behind me and through my knife. Caught in an instant. I freaked out, but it was only Tom and Sioneboy. "What are you doing here" I said "I thought you couldn't make it?" ''Sioneboy had some trouble but I was fine" Tom said. "We have killed them all" I said as I uncloaked Hirris and I only to discover something horrible once more. Hirris was not moving he was either unconscious or dead we thought. "The boat has, wait how did you get here" I said "The boat floated back to NZ" Tom replied...                            ...Hours later...                     Back at NZ in a hospital. DING! DING! DING! We rushed Hirris in "Will he be okay" Instantly came out of my mouth. "He has been unconscious, do you know how long for." "Hours" Sioneboy replied. Um, are you okay? Yes. Yes I lost my arm in battle" he said. "Yeah" I said nervously. "Do you know who did it." "NO!" I snapped. " Well, your patient has broken 3 toes on the left and his foot on the right due to an explosion im guessing." "Well that's what we guessed, but we don't actually know." "Well he's going to be...'' We all took a deep breathe ''Alright'' We were all feeling so relieved hearing that Hirris would be okay. Just the feeling that awesome feeling of survival. ''Excuse me'' We all turned in shock. ''Would you like to be seen your arm looks like it could use some fixing.'' Well if It's fine with Sioneboy then sure.  MORE COMING SOON!

Sports (slideshow)

This is a slideshow a friend and I  created 2 years ago. I decided to have a little look on it and it is quite long. So I'm not expecting every viewer to watch the whole slide because it is in the nine hundreds right now but I am probably going to add over the years. The reason I'm posting this is because on the day I posted it I was sick and I was in my mums office doind some of my work shared to me. I was looking for something to blog about and I found this. I would Like to give a huge shout out to my friend Ryker for creating the NBA scene which was the first one and also the longest with a total of 364 slides which on the day of posting was over a third of that whole slide but it could've evovled. If any more friends help I will give them a  shout out to but for now I'll just let you watch our creation.

Scratch project

In week 5, the Waitangi Treaty Grounds education team came to our school and taught us about scratch. To be honest I was already and experienced scratch maker but now im better. This is the scratch project me and my friend made I hope you like it.

Life as a shark Free Writing

This week of free writing I'm pretending I'm a shark. Hope you enjoy. First week back in term 3 hope everyone is starting off the term well. I certainly am finishing off me as a shark. Enjoy!  Oh man!! Life as a shark can I tell you about it! In my mothers stomach death came close. Now out of her stomach she tried to eat me! But I've grown now, that's only a memmory. Now all I care about is chomping on other fishes, it's so fun! Today I'm of to find a group of Marlins, that will make a good breakfast. Down into my cave I found some little fishes. I was going to eat them but that wouldn't be enough for breakfast, anyway they can grow and have more babies for me to eat. Where the Marlins always are, near the shores well that's were I always find them. A perfect breakfast, I think should eat Marlins more often. I still can't get that memmory out of my head, what if I run into one of my brothers. But still that is just a memmory and for now I'm of for a nap.What a horrific sleep. I dreamed of me meeting my brother and fighting him, I just hopes that never happens. Once againg off to find some Marlins, but well I was at it I met a fellow shark. Right then, I realised the pattern on his head...                                               ...It was my brother. I was shocked that we had actually met. It looked like he hadn't had breakfast yet so I asked him if he was searching for Marlins, and sure enough he was. I told him I was also huntig for Marlins and if he wanted to join me. He did so we went off to search. Rethinking, I shouldn't have been scared of my braother I think it was realised that he was actually a really nice guy. After a nice day of hunting down Marlins, playing tag and catch your own tail. After tiring ourselves out we went to sleep, I hoped him a good night and we both went off home.The next morning I woke up and headed straight to his little shack, since I'd forgotten I asked him what his name was. What I was expecting he didn't reply. He was asleep he woke up and a fight started!!! WHAT!!! Ohh, it was only a dream. So I went back to sleep and never woke up again!!

Anzac. A day in the life of a soldier.

Rocket science

For the past three weeks we have been doing rocket science. This week was amazing and here is my reflection: This week was amazing. We tested rockets, and our group was first! We used a 1.5 L&P bottle. Our plan was 1 and 1 quarter cups of water and 50 PSI. We went really high I hoped for 25 metres, but we went like 13 metres but im okay with that. Our rocket got us third. The group that won used 40 PSI and ¼ cups  But the most important thing in this lesson was forces and like how if you don’t and drop a ball it won’t the ball loses force in the drop. ROCKET SCIENCE = AMAZING (Edited) I'm back to tell you more about forces. Let me say this, if you throw a ball and it barely goes anywere because it you didn't put enough force. Like a ball kick a ball and it barely moves there is not enough force in the kick. I hope you learn something from this.

Maths, Fraction, Fraction street

Free writing

For this week of free write and went onto pobble 365 again.(If you don't know what pobble 365 is then scroll down to my post named "The little girl and the red balloon" and it will explain) I picked April 11th because my friend told me to, it was lightning never strikes twice. Hope you enjoy. Once upon a time a dad and his son went to a forest and explored. Little did they know there was a lightning storm that day. It showered and showered and showered. The dad pulled his son under cover. All of a sudden a light strike hit the tree they were hiding under. The son's father said, "Stay here lightning never strikes twice." 9 seconds later the thunder came down. The dad and his son were worried, but then dad saw a windmall. As they were running, the windmall got a strike to the face! It burned for at least what 2 seconds! Pathetic! More coming soon!

How to find a fraction of a whole number? FRACTIONS!!

Today I will be teaching you a little bit about fractions. What you will be learning is how to find a fraction of a whole number. The most important thing is to divide the bottom and times the top and if you don't know what the means it okay because it will be explained in the video. There is a clip below below show 2 different equations, 4/6 of 36 and 6/7 of 56. But anyways I hope you enjoy and I hope you learn something 😀😀.

Free writing, My birthday

Today for free write I did a carpool karaoke and now Im talking about my birthday. Today is my birthday I decided to quickly fit a second blog post in. I am officially two digits (10). We celebrated my birthday on Saturday and my dinner was Pizza, our drink was lemon, lime and bitters and apple juice (separated) and for desert we had Crème brûlée. For my presents I got a taonga, two books, socks, shinpads and a samsung two tablet! My mum made a chocolate cake and brought it to school today with marshmellos and m&ms on top.  I hope you enjoyed visiting my blog and I hope your birthday was as fantastic as mine.

Free write, Carpool Karaoke

For this week of free writing I am blogging about the carpool karaoke that we did for assembly last friday. In my group it was me, Braxton, Hirini, De'Aundre and Thomas (but Thomas did not come to school.) Our song was You can't hide if you want to check it out, and also if your looking for me I am in the drivers seat wearing a a silver dress in one of them. The little girl and the red balloon

Welcome back to school everyone I hope you are having a great time. For this week of free writing I decided to go on pobble 365 a very great app for random blogging. I decided to pick the date of my little brothers birth and it was The little girl and the red balloon. I hope you like it! As the term continues I finished my story of the little girl and the red balloon. Enjoy! Once upon a time there was a little girl locked up in a prison basically, This was day one of prison life for the girl but she knew she would escape.No food, no liquid and no help for the girl and since day 1 she hadn't slept at all just thinking. Day 2 is here and the girl was thinking if she had fallen from the hole in the roof maybe some else could to.Day 3 is dawning, storms are raining down and going through the hole on the roof but branches broke down through the hole, after a little while the storm stopped. 2 hours later it was dry but cold so the girl used the twigs and branches that fell down to make a fire. As Day 3. All of a sudden a red balloon comes flying in. It flew over the hole the girl just grabbed the balloon by the string. Day 4. The girl went to find something sharp to pop the balloon but the only thing sharp in that room was the twigs and branches that were burned and became blunt! She jumped on the balloon, it popped but another one came out. This really frustrated the girl she threw it to the ground and left it. Day 5. Technique after technique the girl tried to escape,  she wasn't very tall, or heavy. As this popped into mind the girl had a plan. Day six. The girl was so tired she decided to sleep night 5 but she planned all day yesterday and will do the same today. Several plans, several fails. At least one of them should have worked she thought. Day 7. Another night of no sleep for the girl as the morning arrived she remembered the plan she thought of on Day 5 when the girl slept she forgot, the balloon was a helium, she realised as soon as she looked at it it was no longer on the floor it was on the roof. She grabbed it by the string held near the hole and she floated. From that day she knew not to walk on the top of random buildings! THE END

Weekends week 11 free write

This week for free writing I chose to write about my weekend. I played a soccer game on Saturday then went to Auckland on Sunday to watch my brother play his game. I hope you like it! Saturday my brothers and my mum were gone it was just me and my dad. We were packed and ready to go so we left and we went to Kerikeri. My game was at Kerikeri primary school and we had to be there at 9:00 AM but kick off was at 9:30. For the first ten minutes our warm-up our goalie wasn't doing well at all but the other 20 minutes he surprised me. 1st quarter we didn't do very well it was 1-0 to us but it was hard because Charlie hogged the ball (but I don't really think he was trying to) I asked him if maybe he could pass more, his answer was ''if i lose control of the ball we will get destroyed.'' Okay then I replied 2nd quarter. We started off since they did last time and me and Charlie had a plan he said ''Pass it to me and then i'll pass it back then wip it in and we will score.'' Got it I said. Boom, boom, boom, boom, boom Charlie scored then we were 2-0 up, ''Just as planned'' I shouted. At the end of that quarter I scored another two goals and that was half time. 2nd half coming soon

Weekends week 9 free write

Monday the 25th of March free writing and I chose to write about my weekend Saturday and Sunday.
Saturday. I woke up in the morning pretty early to get to Whangarei because my brother had a soccer game and tomorrow he had a game in Auckland.We packed everything we needed yesterday and when it was time we left. We went to Tikipunga  (which is in Whangarei) to watch Qaiden's game. I watched the first 10 minutes but then I played with some people I´d seen at one of Qaiden's other games. Qaiden won his game 1 to 0 and after his game we went shopping with Nana. We bought cheese, two packs of shaved ham, buns, doughnuts and ice blocks. We went home and watched TV for a while because Nana lives alone so she doesn't have much to do. Qaiden and mum came home because they were watching his coach play. For dinner we had tacos we went to our cousins house for a hour and came back we stayed up a little longer and went to bed. Sunday coming soon

Free writing week 6, 7 and 8 the invisible guy

This week for free write I went on to pobble 365 and did the date of my birth it was the invisible guy so I decided to write a story about the invisible guy The invisible guy. Hope you like it. week 7 I continue to finish my story the invisible guy. Week 8 invisible guy continue Enjoy Once there was a guy named Cooper he lived in a haunted house. Every day he should have been scared, frightened and haunted by the invisible guy but he wasn’t. Cooper wouldn’t dare to leave, he thought if he stay in for long enough him and every other person that entered wouldn’t be haunted but no one had ever EVER beat him.Cooper’s nickname is Thravuy this means The bravest guy and his nickname describes the way he is.
Plans for stopping the invisible guy
No one ever new where he would be so whole of the last night Cooper planed a way to stop the invisible guy, but the invisible guy was watching him that whole time but little did he know that was his homework he had already planned his way of getting out, after a minute of the invisible guy not being there he assumed he was gone and pulled out his real plans, it read I’m sure he’ll be watching me this whole time I have set up a metal rope I will swing this metal rope around and catch him press the electrician button and pour visible potion on him. No one ever beat him and also he wasn’t born invisible he was doing science for 27 years he is 35 now this is when he is 29, in his years of doing science he failed a test to find the cure for cancer and made and invisible potion. He tried it on his friend who had cancer by the name of Jack as the drop hit him it made him disappear, well that’s what everyone thought he actually went invisible he went to The “visible” guys house and told him that went invisible and his cancer got removed by the doctor somehow I don’t really know how he was invisible. The “visible” guy thought he could become unable to die, this is how he got his name, for the last 6 years he has been invisible.
Invisible guy gets defeated
Breakfast was all set up and ready Cooper was an Einstein one of the smartest people on earth and made “seeing invisible people goggles” Cooper saw the invisible guy (Who was visible to Cooper) got him in the metal rope pressed the electrician button jumped on the table jumped write above him threw the visible potion on him smashed the door open and ran out. The invisible guy (visible) went to jail. Cooper saved people and was famous after defeating the invisible guy, he was basically the coolest person in the world. Out of the hundreds and thousands of people to live in the haunted house with the invisible guy.
Friendship gets made
4 years later Robertson (the invisible guy) wanted to be friends with Cooper, Cooper had a quick think about it. Robertson said "Please oh please Cooper all i wanted is a friend" Cooper thought "could this be a prank after 6 years he had been a bad person but this could be an opportunity to get rid of one of the bad guys." "Okay" Cooper replied, "finally a friend all I wanted was for people to appreciate me but I failed and made the world a badder place I am so sorry." Cooper took him to the haunted house although it was not haunted and had a lot of changes. "Wow this is such an improvement, could I live with you Cooper" Yes sure you can Cooper replied. Oh thank you so much Cooper
Fight crime
After Cooper and Robertson became best friends they both became policemen so they were stopping bad guys and saving people and they both got a police dog! After this they were both famous and they were the coolest people ever.
Invisible man part two
They were a great policemen combo, but a new invisible man had came to mess with them. Cooper and Robertson were both great scientists so they thought this would be easy. even easier since Cooper still had his seeing invisible googles. The new invisible guy was even worst he wasn't in a haunted house, he was in the streets. So Cooper lured him into a house by shouting ¨If you want the coolest people come in the house. he came in Cooper saw him since he had the goggles on he saw him and the same thing  Cooper caught him in the electrician rope pressed the electrician button poured the visible potion on and sent him to jail.
More friends
Cooper went to his brothers house with Robertson. Coopers brother is J´mahkus but he gets called Jj. Jj said hi Cooper and whispered ¨who´s this.¨ His name is Robertson. Hi Robertson I´m J´mahkus but you can call me Jj. Hi Jj Robertson replied. We have decided do stay down here for the night Jj¨. Come in i´ll give you a tour Robertson
Leaving their country
Cooper and Robertson decided to go to Thailand for their holidays they loaned their job for 3 months and left to Thailand. THE END
