Rocket science
For the past three weeks we have been doing rocket science. This week was amazing and here is my reflection: This week was amazing. We tested rockets, and our group was first! We used a 1.5 L&P bottle. Our plan was 1 and 1 quarter cups of water and 50 PSI. We went really high I hoped for 25 metres, but we went like 13 metres but im okay with that. Our rocket got us third. The group that won used 40 PSI and ¼ cups But the most important thing in this lesson was forces and like how if you don’t and drop a ball it won’t the ball loses force in the drop. ROCKET SCIENCE = AMAZING (Edited) I'm back to tell you more about forces. Let me say this, if you throw a ball and it barely goes anywere because it you didn't put enough force. Like a ball kick a ball and it barely moves there is not enough force in the kick. I hope you learn something from this.

Free writing, My birthday
Today for free write I did a carpool karaoke and now Im talking about my birthday. Today is my birthday I decided to quickly fit a second blog post in. I am officially two digits (10). We celebrated my birthday on Saturday and my dinner was Pizza, our drink was lemon, lime and bitters and apple juice (separated) and for desert we had Crème brûlée. For my presents I got a taonga, two books, socks, shinpads and a samsung two tablet! My mum made a chocolate cake and brought it to school today with marshmellos and m&ms on top. Assembly
Today it was our assembly and there were 5 items We Will Rock you, a book we made, a dance called Zorba (By the boys), a play (By the girls) and a 12 days of Christmas video (Boys made their own so did girls and our teacher.) I did the Zorba, We Will Rock You, book and 12 days of Christmas. Have a look. First we introduced ourselves, then we sang the national anthem, then we sang We Will Rock you, then 8 juniors got certificates, then we read our book, then 6 middles school students got certificates, then the boys did zorba, then 6 seniors got certificates, then the girls did a play, then the teacher gave house points, caught being goods and other notice, then 12 days of Christmas, then class of the week and finally I personally said a goodbye. I liked dancing but it was kind of challenging especially speaking in front of the whole school. My next step is to speak more confidently. I might want to give others chances to shine next time.
Here is the music to the Zorba:

Poi
Today we made poi. It was hard to cut the sponge at first, but I got the hang of it. When I was cutting, it was getting boring and my arms were getting sore so I asked Mr Owen to help. I was struggling to put the plastic bag around the sponge but I did it. It was easy to put the string in the hole and also to wrap the string and sellotape around the plastic bag.
