  1. Hi there Koda,

I hope you're having an awesome holiday. My name is Jade F and I am one of the blog commenters from the Summer Learning Journey team!

Thank you for sharing your pepeha for your Summer Learning Journey task! I really enjoyed reading it and learning about your Maori ancestry. I come from the tribe, Nga puhi and my waka is Ngatokimatawhaorua just like you! Have you tried learning your pepeha off by heart? I had to do that at university and share it with my class. It was really nerve wracking but so much fun as well. It's a good way to introduce yourself and practice your Te Reo!

I look forward to reading more of your blog posts Koda! Keep up the amazing work.

    All the best,
    Jade F :)

Thanks for the reply! That is awesome that you know your pepeha off by heart! Could you tell more about Taumata? I'm very curious to know what it is. :)

Looking forward to hearing from you.

      Cheers,
